Family Safety Tips from MHH Warranty

Smoke Detectors and Carbon Monoxide Detectors can save lives, but ONLY IF the batteries are fresh and the units are working.    Monte Hewett Homes also suggests keeping a Fire Extinguisher on every level of your home.

Fall is a great time to check/buy/replace these devices!  Most home stores such as Lowes, Home Depot or Ace Hardware carry these devices.

    Thanks, I always forget about changing batteries. Do you have a favorite type of carbon monoxide detector?

    Does my detector in my home security system also check for carbon monoxide, or do I need to purchase a seperate one?
