Got Documents to Shred? Bring them to Turner Field Sat. May 9th

Being a “green” builder of EarthCraft homes, we at Monte Hewett are always on the look out for earth-friendly activites going on around Atlanta, so we can share them with you. We just ran across a GREAT one for next weekend. The Great Shredder II event at Turner Field, sponsored by CBS Atlanta, Channel 46, and Equifax. This event is a “sequel” to the Great Shredder event held at Perimeter Mall in February.

On Saturday, May 9, from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., CBS Atlanta will host an even greater shredder event at Turner Field with even more trucks and more space. There are a few restrictions as to what you can bring, so see below:

Please limit your documents to 4 trash bags or boxes
Paper products only (staples and paper clips are ok)
Personal papers only – No business documents allowed
No newspapers or magazines�

And if you missed the last electronics recycling day in your area (another GRET way to be friendlier to our landfills!), Dump and Haul will be at Turner field on the 9th as well and will be accepting electronics for recycling.
