Gold Rush Days come to Dahlonega, GA October 17th

Gold Rush Days will get fired up in Dahlonega, GA on Oct 17th & 18th in the Public Square and the Historic District in downtown Dahlonega.

This festival celebrates the discovery of gold in Dahlonega in 1828. Visitors come to view the beautiful colors of fall and enjoy a day of fun festivities. This annual event was voted one of the Top 20 Events in the Southeast by the Southeast Tourism Society. There will be over 300 arts & crafts vendors, a parade, kids activities, a fashion show, live entertainment, gold panning contest, wheelbarrow race, hog calling and many more fun activities to fill your day.

Dahlonega is an easy drive from our Monte Hewett Homes Heatherton community in Roswell. Just take 400 North 45 minutes to US19/GA60, take a left and follow it 5.6 miles to the square.
