Who’s up for an early morning Halloween run? Try the Silver Comet Half Marathon

The 9th annual Silver Comet Half Marathon & Fun Run is set to take place on Halloween morning. The 2008 race sold out in a hurry, so now is last your chance to get signed up for 2009! The race takes place on the Silver Comet trail, Atlanta’s hottest running trail…and why is it so popular? Because it’s silver-comet-trailFLAT! The Silver Comet Trail can be easily accessed from several Monte Hewett communities, like Stonehaven at Vinings and West Village via the Cumberland Connector.

The Silver Comet Races are fully self supporting & give financial support to educational environmental programs for children in the surrounding community. It is the perfect race for first time walkers & runners.
