The Forrest Commons Grand Opening was a success!
After having to reschedule twice due to fickle Georgia weather, Downtown Roswell had a spectacular day to welcome its newest community to the neighborhood. The official Forrest Commons Grand Opening was held on Tuesday, February 24, 2015. There was a grand showing of support by community leaders, Real Estate agents, potential buyers, current residents and neighbors to the area. Some of the respected dignitaries of the Roswell Area were in attendance as well. Namely, Executive Director of Roswell, Inc. Steven Stroud and Mayor Jere Wood, who is in his fifth term as Mayor of Roswell, showed their support by actively taking part in the ribbon cutting ceremony. In fact, Mayor Wood, who is a longtime friend of Monte Hewett hosted the ribbon cutting ceremony and expressed his support for the project.
On that beautiful day, the ribbon cutting ceremony took place in the brand new Forrest Commons pavilion at the head of the community courtyard. Revealing the completion of the outdoor fireplace, guests were able to get a feel of how this pleasant greenspace could be the perfect place to gather with neighbors and family in the evenings and weekends. Event attendees enjoyed tours of the Forrest Commons custom built single family homes and townhomes and their luxurious features, while experiencing the sense of belonging that this tight knit community exudes. Lunch was served in Homesite 2 and prospective residents witnessed the unveiling of a decorated townhome model at Homesite 16.
The Forrest Commons Grand Opening peaked much interest in the Downtown Roswell area. Encompassing a high level finishes, a staple of each home, upgraded appliances and landscaped yards, Forrest Commons is proving to be desirable place to live. Out of a total of nine single family homes, three are ready for immediate move in, and only two remain as presale opportunities. Purchasing a home prior to construction offers a great opportunity to customize your home with all the personal touches you desire before the building is complete.
Located in Downtown Roswell, Forrest Commons is within walking distance to the Canton Street restaurants, the Roswell Cultural Arts Center, Roswell Library and City Hall and the Chattahoochee Recreational Area. Residents of Forrest Commons will experience a suburban lifestyle that affords a perfect mix of history, culture and nature. The success of the Forrest Commons Grand Opening is believed to be a catalyst for the development of this growing community. Mayor Jere Wood and the Roswell community invite you to look for more communities on the rise.
